Paleta Ecocenter

The PALETA Eco-centre branch in Oucmanice is the Ecological Education Centre for the Pardubice Region. The centre is based in a newly reconstructed farmhouse in the small municipality of Oucmanice near Choceň. The building has very pleasant interiors with a nice atmosphere and it is equipped to accommodate 40 people in rooms with their own social amenities. The building has 2 classrooms, a hall, a modern kitchen, 2 museum exhibitions, refreshments and a cellar.

It offers its facilities to organisations for meetings, one-day or multiple-day training sessions, stays, courses and seminars. There are 2 classrooms with a capacity of approximately 30 people, which are equipped with data projectors, screens and fast internet connections.

The centre also offers examples of the use of ecologically friendly technology, a small shop with eco-educational literature and aids, fair-trade products, refreshments, a wine cellar with the option of wine tasting, two museum exhibitions (housing and agriculture), live animals, a herb garden and a fishpond.
